JOE RAMOS

Joe Ramos

CEO/CFO

          Joe has over 35 years of agricultural experience, including over 15 years dedicated specifically to environmental services within the agricultural industry. In this industry, Joe has aided members of the dairy and livestock community in meeting regulatory compliance obligations. Joe’s former professional experience includes working as an ag appraiser for Bank of America for 15 years and serving as a field representative for Western United Dairymen for over 10 years. In addition, Joe actively farms almonds and walnuts on his own ranch in Stanislaus County.

          Beyond Joe’s applied experience in the agriculture industry, he has also earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration with a minor in Economics from California State University Stanislaus. Joe is also a certified Technical Service Provider through the National Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) which allows him to serve a wide array of client needs. Adding to Joe’s wealth of experience in the agriculture industry, is his service on various local committees. Specifically, Joe has served on the Merced County Dairy Technical Advisory Committee, as well as the Harding Drain Advisory Committee. Beyond this, Joe is proud to be a member of Diamond Walnut Growers Inc., and the Stanislaus County Farm Bureau through which he is able to advocate for the agriculture industry.

Project Experience:

  • Serves approximately 150 dairy and livestock operations primarily in Stanislaus and Merced counties

  • Obtains Authority to Construct permits through the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District

  • Acquires building permits and Conditional Use Permits for the purpose of expansion in both Stanislaus and Merced counties

  • Assists with dairy mergers and dairy closures through the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board

  • Prepares Comprehensive Nutrient Management Plans (CNMPs) in accordance with the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS)

  • Compiles and organizes records of crop production, irrigation applications, nutrient applications, and nutrient exports in order to prepare Annual Reports for the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (CDQAP)

  • Assists dairy clients in preparing for California Dairy Quality Assurance Program (CDQAP) inspections and certifications
