Jeanette Sawyer
Field Technician
Jeanette has nearly 40 years of agricultural experience, over 10 of which have been committed specifically to environmental services. Jeanette proudly maintains a longstanding connection to the agriculture industry, which began with her upbringing on her family’s dairy, and involvement with Future Farmers of America (FFA). Following this, Jeanette became the first woman to join the Modesto Junior College dairy judging team. Jeanette has over 25 years of laboratory experience working for both, Dairy and Food Laboratories and Hilmar Cheese Company. Jeanette then pursued a career in environmental services, which led her to her current position as a field technician with F&R Ag Services in 2013.
Jeanette has also obtained multiple Associate of Science (AS) degrees from Modesto Junior College. Specifically, she received an AS in Ag Business, an AS in Dairy Science, and an AS in Agriculture Sales and Service.
Project Experience:

Serves approximately 60 dairies across Stanislaus, San Joaquin, Sacramento, and Merced counties

Compiles and organizes records of crop production, irrigation applications, nutrient applications, and nutrient exports in order to prepare Annual Reports for the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (CDQAP)

Conducts weekly site inspections and completes associated inspection forms to fulfill regulatory compliance requirements

Obtains all required samples to ensure regulatory compliance
